AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines - All 49 of
the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)'s Clinical
Practice Guidelines are available online.
ACP Guidelines - ACP Clinical Practice Guidelines cover many areas of internal medicine, including screening for cancer or other major diseases, diagnosis, treatment and medical technology.
AHRQ Guidelines
- The
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), part of
the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the lead
agency charged with supporting research designed to improve
the quality of health care, reduce its cost, and broaden access
to essential services. AHRQ's broad programs of research bring
practical, science-based information to medical practitioners
and to consumers and other health care purchasers.
American Academy of Neurology - The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) develops clinical practice guidelines to assist its members in clinical decision making related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of neurologic disorders. Each guideline makes specific practice recommendations based upon a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation of all available scientific data.
American Academy of Ophthalmology - Practice guidelines and assessments are based on clinical evidence and expert consensus to assist the clinician in decision-making about treating specific diseases. The goal of the Hoskins Center's and Academy-approved guidelines and assessments is to improve quality of care. Additional statements provide guidance on topic of interest to the clinician.
American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons - Clinical Practice Guidelines are valuable tools that will allow you to advance the physician-patient communications process and enhance the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

American Association of Feline Practitioners - Learn more about veterinary cat care.
American College of Cardiology - Many guidelines are listed jointly with the American Heart Association.
American College of Gastroenterology - The College publishes guidelines on gastrointestinal diseases in the American Journal of Gastroenterology that have been developed and reviewed under the auspices of the ACG Practice Parameters Committee.
American College of Radiology Practice Guidelines & Technical Statements - The American College of Radiology, with more than 30,000 members, is the principal organization of radiologists, radiation oncologists, and clinical medical physicists in the United States.
American College of Rheumatology - Many specialty societies and other professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology, have developed practice guidelines for the purposes of reducing inappropriate care, controlling geographic variations in practice patterns, and making effective use of health care resources.

American Medical Directors Association - This organization utilizes practice guidelines for long term care situations.
American
Psychiatric Association Practice Guidelines - Treatment
guidelines intended to be used by psychiatrists and other
physicians. Commonly diagnosed mental disorders are covered.
American Society of Clinical Oncology - Clinical practice guidelines serve as a guide for doctors and outline appropriate methods of treatment and care. ASCO expert panels identify and develop practice recommendations for specific areas of cancer care that would benefit from the availability of practice guidelines.
American Society of Reproductive Medicine - These guidelines have been developed to assist physicians with clinical decisions regarding the care of their patients. They are not intended to be a protocol to be applied in all situations, and cannot substitute for the individual judgment of the treating physicians based on their knowledge of their patients and specific circumstances. The recommendations in these guidelines may not be the most appropriate approach for all patients.
AOA Optometric Clinical Practice Guidelines - Optometric Clinical Practice Guidelines (OCPGs) are recommendations for patient care which are developed through a formal process. They combine the best available current scientific evidence and research with expert clinical opinion to recommend appropriate steps in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients with various eye and vision conditions.

ISDA Practice Guidelines cover treatment of infectious diseases
and infectious symptoms; they are available in PDF format

National Heart Lung and Blood Institute Guidelines - These guidelines are primarily for use by clinicians--physicians, nurses, and other health professionals in clinical practice. They are also useful to managed care organizations and other groups that define benefit plans for patients or handle health care resources.
National Kidney Foundation - All these guidelines followed the rigorous KDOQI process, were developed by independent volunteer work groups and were funded by more than a dozen companies within the kidney disease field.

Practice Guidelines -
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is a not
for profit, tax-exempt corporation that is an alliance of
the world's leading cancer centers. The NCCN Oncology Practice
Guidelines are the recognized standard reference for appropriate
practice in the field of oncology.
VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines - Since 1988 the VA and DoD have worked together to adapt internationally recognized CPGs to meet the requirements of the military and veterans healthcare systems.
