Association has joined forces with U.S. News & World
Report to produce a consumer-oriented online directory of
hospitals in the U.S. The free directory encompasses more
than 18,000 Web pages containing key information and statistics
on more than 6,000 hospitals in all 50 states, Washington
D.C., Puerto Rico and the territories. The data can be searched
by hospital name, state, region and type of hospital.

a Dentist - The American Dental Association
provides this online directory of dentists who belong to
their association.

This site includes information on all doctors who are
actively licensed and currently permitted to practice
medicine or podiatry in New Jersey. The website can

Information Center (NHIC) -
A health information referral service. The database contains
1,100 organizations and government offices that provide
health information upon request. Entries include contact
information, short abstracts, and information about publications
and services the organizations provide.

allows healthcare consumers to compare New Jersey hospitals
based on a number of statistics regarding the care
they deliver to patients.
New Jersey Hospital Performance Report - The New Jersey state Department of Health and Senior Services released its sixth annual report on hospital quality - the New Jersey 2009 Hospital Performance Report. The report includes two additional measures for surgical care infection prevention in addition to performance measures for heart attack, pneumonia, and congestive heart failure.The report also includes 12 new measures for patient safety, as required by Senate Bill No. 2471. The new measures show how well hospitals are doing preventing specific medical errors.
