AGRICOLA - The AGRICOLA database is produced by the National Agricultural Library and covers both a book catalog and a database of journal articles. There is also a section on obtaining NAL materials.

CAM on PubMed - The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine hosts this database which consists of more than 175,000 bibliographic citations from 1963 to the present. Citations were extracted from the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE database. Users may perform a search of the bibliographic data or browse through citations organized by CAM system, disease, or method.

CDC Wonder - An easy-to-use system that provides a single point of access to a wide variety of CDC reports, guidelines, and numeric public health data.

CenterWatch - You can use this site to find a wealth of information about clinical research, including listings of more than 41,000 active industry and government-sponsored clinical trials, as well as new drug therapies in research and those recently approved by the FDA.

ClinicalTrials.gov - Provides current information about clinical research studies to patients, family members, and members of the public. Developed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health through the National Library of Medicine.

FDA Poisonous Plants Database - The Food and Drug Administration, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition have created this database.

Genetics Home Reference - Genetics Home Reference provides consumer-friendly information about the effects of genetic variations on human health.

HerbMed - Created by the Alternative Medicine Foundation, HerbMed is a free interactive, electronic herbal database. It provides hyperlinked access to the scientific data underlying the use of herbs for health. It is an evidence-based information resource for professionals, researchers, and the general public.

Household Products Database - What's under your kitchen sink, in your garage, in your bathroom, and on the shelves in your laundry room? Learn more about what's in these products, about potential health effects, and about safety and handling.

HSTAT: Health Services/Technology Assessment Text - Includes AHCPR Evidence Reports, AHCPR Supported Guidelines, Clinical Practice Guidelines, Quick Reference Guides for Clinicians, AHCPR Technology Assessments and Reviews, ATIS Publications, NIH Clinical Studies, NIH Consensus Development Program, Guide to Clinical Preventive Services, and SAMHSA/CSAT Treatment Improvement Protocols.

IBIDS Database - The International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements (IBIDS) is a database of published, international, scientific literature on dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, and botanicals, produced by the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements. To Search IBIDS, click the "GO" button.

IRIS (Integrated Risk Information System) - Prepared and maintained by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, IRIS is an electronic database containing information on human health effects that may result from exposure to various chemicals in the environment. Also available through TOXNET.

LabTestsOnline - Lab Tests Online has been designed to help you, as a patient or caregiver, to better understand the many clinical lab tests that are part of routine care as well as diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of conditions and diseases.

MEDLINE via PubMed - PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's search service that provides access to over 11 million citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, and other related databases, with links to participating online journals.

National Plants Database - Locate all of your favorite plants at this site from the US Department of Agriculture.

New Jersey Cancer Trial Connect - Here you can find trials throughout the state in order to obtain options for state-of-the- art cancer treatment. It is operated by The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) and funded by the State of New Jersey though an appropriation to CINJ.

New Jersey Health Care Profile - Search for information about New Jersey physicians and podiatrists. Results include education and license history and any malpractice payments, disciplinary actions, or restrictions/limitations imposed. Optional information may include board certifications, office hours, language, accessibility, Medicare and health insurance participation, medical school appointments or teaching responsibilities, and hospitals where privileges are held. The database is searchable by name, field of medicine, hospital, or office location.

NutritionData - NutritionData (ND) generates nutrition facts labels and provides simplified nutritional analyses for all foods and recipes. ND tells you what's good and bad about the foods you eat, and helps you select foods that best meet your dietary needs.

Poisonous Plants Informational Database - This database of poisonous plants is courtesy of the Animal Science faculty at Cornell University.

USDA National Nutrient Database - The US Department of Agriculture, Nutrient Data Laboratory provides this database of the nutrient content of 6,661 different foods.
