CAM
on PubMed - The
National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
hosts this database which consists of more than 175,000 bibliographic
citations from 1963 to the present. Citations were extracted
from the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE database.
Users may perform a search of the bibliographic data or browse
through citations organized by CAM system, disease, or method.
CDC Wonder
- An easy-to-use
system that provides a single point of access to a wide variety
of CDC reports, guidelines, and numeric public health data.
CenterWatch
- You can use this site to find a wealth of information about
clinical research, including listings of more than 41,000
active industry and government-sponsored clinical trials,
as well as new drug therapies in research and those recently
approved by the FDA.
ClinicalTrials.gov - Provides
current information about clinical research studies to patients,
family members, and members of the public. Developed by the
U.S. National Institutes of Health through the National Library
of Medicine.

Created by the Alternative Medicine Foundation, HerbMed is
a free interactive, electronic herbal database. It provides
hyperlinked access to the scientific data underlying the use
of herbs for health. It is an evidence-based information resource
for professionals, researchers, and the general public.

IRIS (Integrated
Risk Information System) - Prepared and maintained
by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, IRIS is an electronic
database containing information on human health effects that
may result from exposure to various chemicals in the environment.

Jersey Cancer Trial Connect - Here you can find
trials throughout the state in order to obtain options for
state-of-the- art cancer treatment. It is operated by The
Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) and funded by the State
of New Jersey though an appropriation to CINJ.

Jersey Health Care Profile - Search for information
about New Jersey physicians and podiatrists. Results include
education and license history and any malpractice payments,
disciplinary actions, or restrictions/limitations imposed.
Optional information may include board certifications, office
hours, language, accessibility, Medicare and health insurance
participation, medical school appointments or teaching responsibilities,
and hospitals where privileges are held. The database is searchable
