New Jersey Hospital Association Member Hospitals and Healthcare Systems - Hospitals are listed, with links to their Web sites, alphabetically, by county, or by multi-hospital system. Non-member hospitals are included.

Select Hospital Comparison - The NJ Department of Health and Senior Services has released the state’s first annual report on hospital performance, giving hospitals, health care providers, patients and their families information on treatment of heart attack and pneumonia in New Jersey acute care hospitals.

New Jersey Hospital Care Compare - This resource allows healthcare consumers to compare New Jersey hospitals based on a number of statistics regarding the care they deliver to patients.

New Jersey Hospital Performance Report - The New Jersey state Department of Health and Senior Services released its sixth annual report on hospital quality - the New Jersey 2009 Hospital Performance Report. The report includes two additional measures for surgical care infection prevention in addition to performance measures for heart attack, pneumonia, and congestive heart failure.The report also includes 12 new measures for patient safety, as required by Senate Bill No. 2471. The new measures show how well hospitals are doing preventing specific medical errors.

New Jersey Hospital Price Compare - This resource allows healthcare consumers to compare information about various services and charges at New Jersey's acute care hospitals.

 

Nursing Homes & Rehabilitation Facilities

New Jersey Report Card for Nursing Homes - Here you will find listed information about approximately 400 nursing homes in the state.

Nursing Home Compare - Nursing Home Compare is the Health Care Financing Administration's (HCFA) Nursing Home Database, searchable by state or zip code. A brief listing is provided first. Users may then choose to see more detail, including info about the home's most recent inspection and statistics on residents.

Selecting a Long-Term Care Setting: A Guide for New Jersey Consumers - New Jersey's well-known and well-used guide has been updated for the World Wide Web. It includes a wealth of checklists, contact information, and links to additional sites - all provided to help you make a decision about long-term care with the confidence that you or your loved ones will get the best care possible. "Financing the Costs" summarizes nursing home costs and financing options such as Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans benefits, and community assistance. Also included are "Suggested Readings", "Resources on the Internet", and the New Jersey Nursing Home Inspection Report. You should be aware, though, that not all nursing homes are listed in the Guide or in the Inspection Report.
