211 Non-Emergency Helpline - New Jersey residents in need of health and human services, community resources and governmental assistance are now just a three-digit telephone call away form the information they need. All they have to do is pickup a telephone and dial 2-1-1. The service is available 24 hours a day, confidential, multilingual and accessible to the hearing impaired.

Division of Environmental Health and Emergency Management - Trains for, maintains equipment for, and responds to disasters and emergencies and coordinates county and regional response and provides Hazardous Materials Response Team.

Division of Social Services - The Division of Social Services provides assistance to the needy in Union County by administering a variety of programs including free vaccinations and immunizations for children, help with housing, medical bills, energy bills and much more.

Human Relations Commission - The Union County Human Relations Commission addresses the issues of prejudice, bias and racism and their impact on our local schools, workplaces and neighborhoods.
