Non-Emergency Helpline - New Jersey residents
in need of health and human services, community resources
and governmental assistance are now just a three-digit
telephone call away form the information they need.
All they have to do is pickup a telephone and dial 2-1-1.
The service is available 24 hours a day, confidential,
multilingual and accessible to the hearing impaired.

of Human Services - The Monmouth County
Department of Human Services was established in 1987
by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders in
keeping with County's long-standing tradition of initiating
and supporting programs to address the human service
needs of its citizens.
Division
of Drug and Alcohol Abuse - Provides information
and referral. Administers County and State funds for
prevention and treatment projects and programs, including
the municipal Alliances to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug
Abuse. Operates the County's Intoxicated Driver Resource
Center (IDRC). Coordinates planning, monitoring and
advocacy activities.
Division
of Social Services - Monmouth County Division
of Social Services assists Monmouth County residents
in need of social services, financial assistance and
medical assistance. The Division is part of the Monmouth
County Department of Human Services.
