211 Non-Emergency Helpline - New Jersey residents in need of health and human services, community resources and governmental assistance are now just a three-digit telephone call away form the information they need. All they have to do is pickup a telephone and dial 2-1-1. The service is available 24 hours a day, confidential, multilingual and accessible to the hearing impaired.

Division of Senior Services - This Division offers a wide range of services to senior citizens residing in Essex County and deemed eligible for services.

Essex County Cancer Resources - The New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection Screening Program (NJCEED) is part of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. NJCEED provides comprehensive screening services for breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancer.

Essex and West Hudson United Way - United Way of Essex and West Hudson is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, one-third of whom are elected annually. We serve a population of nearly 700,000 in thirteen communities in Essex and Hudson County: Belleville, Nutley, Harrison, Kearny, East Newark, Newark, North Arlington, East Orange, Orange, South Orange, West Orange, Irvington and Maplewood.
