site and phone number will also provide emergency information about local problems
such as floods and highway closures.

Family Division Court - Family-related
cases, such as those involving divorce, domestic violence,
juvenile delinquency, child support, foster-care placements,
adoption, custody and visitation and terminations of
parental rights, are heard in the Family Division of
Superior Court. About 350,000 cases are handled in the
Family Division each year.

PEI Kids - PEI Kids, a non-profit organization that provides an array of services to children and their families throughout Mercer County, realizes that parenting is the toughest job there is. This is why we offer parenting workshops such as ACT – Adults and Children Together – Against Violence, a five part series designed to prevent violence by providing young children with positive role models and includes topics such as child development, anger management, problem solving, discipline and the effect of media violence on children.

The
Special Child Health Services (SCHS) Registry
- The SCHS Registry is a confidential record of infants
and children who have special health care needs or who
are at-risk for developing such needs. Infants and children
with a birth defect diagnosed by age one year are required
to be reported to the Registry.
The
Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and
Children - This program, commonly known as WIC,
provides basic nutritious foods to over 160,000 New
Jersey residents monthly. In addition, WIC participants
learn about nutrition for a healthy life and are encouraged
to seek and maintain appropriate medical care.
