Farmer's
Market Nutrition Program - The Goals of the
Farmers' Market Nutrition Program are to: Provide fresh
fruits, vegetables and herbs to WIC clients and people
nutritionally at risk. Expand the awareness and sales
at farmers' markets.

South Jersey - Contains links to info about
the Food Bank, and general information and statistics
about hunger.

NJ 5 A Day - NJ 5 A Day is affiliated
with the National Cancer Institute's 5 A Day for Better
Health Program, a nationwide nutrition education campaign
encouraging Americans to eat five or more servings of
fruits and vegetables every day.

the state-wide program to keep food safe for consumption.
NJ Self-Help Group Clearinghouse - Assists people in finding, forming and learning about self-help support
groups at local, national and Internet levels. Has toll-free helpine and
publishes an annual Self-Help Group Directory, which can be found at
most public libraries.

Service - Provides links to many of the publications
on food, nutrition, and other topics from the Extension
Service of Rutgers University.
WIC
Program - The Supplemental Nutrition Program
for Women, Infants and Children, commonly known as WIC,
provides basic nutritious foods to over 160,000 New
Jersey residents monthly. In addition, WIC participants
learn about nutrition for a healthy life and are encouraged
to seek and maintain appropriate medical care.

Cupones
de Alimentos - El
Programa de Cupones para Alimentos permite que las
familias de bajos recursos - incluyendo las parejas
sin hijos, personas solteras, personas en la tercera
edad, personas incapacitadas, inmigrantes legales y víctimas de violencia
familiar - adquieran alimentos nutritivos con cupones y tarjetas de Transferencia
Electrónica de Beneficios (EBT, por sus siglas en inglés). Con
sus beneficios, los destinatarios de los cupones para alimentos adquieren alimentos
elegibles en tiendas de venta de alimentos al por menor que han sido autorizadas.
Programa
