Camden
Area Health Education Center - The Camden
AHEC is committed to improving the health of the medically
underserved - the ethnic and culturally diverse, the
aged, the poor, the very young, the unemployed, the
homeless and the uninsured. Particular emphasis is on
providing services in the communities of Camden and
Camden and Burlington Counties. See if they have a program

The
Drenk Center - The Lester A. Drenk Behavioral
Health Center (The Drenk Center) is a private, non-profit
organization headquartered in Hainesport, NJ that provides
a wide range of behavioral health services. Their services
reach all 7 southern counties and span a continuum of
mental health services including crisis programs, in-home
services, outpatient, residential and case management
services.
Family Division Court- Family-related
cases, such as those involving divorce, domestic violence,
juvenile delinquency, child support, foster-care placements,
adoption, custody and visitation and terminations of
parental rights, are heard in the Family Division of
Superior Court. About 350,000 cases are handled in the
Family Division each year.

of New Jersey - The
Family Support Center is a "One-Stop Shop" clearinghouse,

Pediatric and Family HIV Resource Center - The
NPFRC is a non-profit organization that serves professionals
who care for children, adolescents and families with
HIV infection and AIDS. Founded in 1990, the Center
offers education, consultation, technical assistance,
and training for health and social service professionals.

Department of Human Services - Links to a large

Division of Family Development - The DFD's
primary task is to direct the state's welfare program,
Work First New Jersey (WFNJ). WFNJ and Food Stamps,
a federally funded food assistance program for low-income
families, are administered by the county welfare agencies
in each of the 21 counties, and by certain municipal
welfare departments. DFD provides funding, information
management services and administrative support.

Children - This program, commonly known as WIC,
provides basic nutritious foods to over 160,000 New
Jersey residents monthly. In addition, WIC participants
learn about nutrition for a healthy life and are encouraged
to seek and maintain appropriate medical care.
