Getting Help at Home - There are several options for seniors who need help staying at home.

The Assisted Living Program in Subsidized Housing (ALP) - ALP is a Medicaid Waiver program that enables individuals who (1) live in certain publicly subsidized housing; and (2) are at risk of placement in a nursing facility; and (3) meet income and resource requirements to receive a broad array of supportive and health services while residing in their own apartment. An individual continues to be responsible for rent, food and other household expenses.
