Colon Cancer Alliance - This organization, also known as the "voice of survivors", relies on voluntary support and is governed largely by cancer survivors. Founded in 1998, the mission of CCA is to offer support, education, research and advocacy to colorectal cancer patients and their families. The website offers basic fact sheets, news about clinical trials and treatment, and an array of social, financial and legal services available to patients. CCA offers an informative starting point and provides links to other practical service-centered cancer agencies.
